Brave Writing

Gayle Brandeis

Writing requires bravery. It forces us to look at ourselves and the world around us straight in the face, without flinching. The original meaning of the word “courage” was “to tell one’s story with all one’s heart”—in this workshop, attendees will discuss ways to peel away layers of resistance to get to our truest, deepest stories, whether they write non-fiction, fiction or poetry.
